About Sandro Sechi |
Sandro was born in the south of Germany, his mother is German, his father
is from Sardinia. He trialed his first dog Crack of Moonlight (a white Shepherd)
to the SchH3 more than 20 times with his highest score being 284. Sandro showed
Crack twice at the Regionals before he retired him and currently works with
his new dog Duke vom Baumgarten SchH3, FH1 who he plans to enter at the Regional
next year. Duke's last SchH3 scores were: 98/95/99. Sandro started helper work at a Rottweiler club 1997. When he met Milan Skoric in 2000 they started training together. Sandro perfected his skills in catching and working dogs while working with Milan's dogs and also with Roland's dog: Janoch von der Grube Waldecke. In 2005 Sandro moved to Lixfeld where he continues to train with a small group of people. He is world renowned for his retrieve training with many breeds of dogs including: Giant Schnauzer, Rottweiler's and Shepherds. He is also highly respected and saught out for his protection training. Many who have and continue to train with Sandro are: Fritz Biehler (with his Bundessieger and World Champion and now his young dog).
